Hello Kitty restaurant, theme park, hotel and maternity suite
A Hello Kitty themed restaurant - based on the famous Japanese character - has opened in Beijing, China
Inside, the restaurant is a riot of pink with Hello Kitty images decorating the walls, tables, chairs and food
According to staff at the Hello Kitty Dreams Restaurant it is proving to be so popular they regularly get booked up for the entire week
The restaurant is just one arm of the huge, worldwide, Hello Kitty empire.
There's even a Hello Kitty maternity ward. Nursing staff pose with new-born babies in front of Hello Kitty decorations at the Baby Kitty maternity ward at Hau Sheng hospital in Yuanlin, in Changhua county, Taiwan...

There's also a Hello Kitty theme park called Harmonyland on Kyushu Island, Japan
An indoor theme park called Hello Kitty's Kawaii Paradise opened in a shopping mall in Tokyo in 2010.
Newlyweds Jamie Ng and Horlick Ng pose with Hello Kitty and her 'boyfriend' Dear Daniel at Hong Kong's Mass Transit Railway during a legal "Hello Kitty Dream Wedding". We have a feeling this was the bride's idea.

Even aliens go wild for Hello Kitty, if this crop circle that appeared in a field in Wiltshire in 2004 is anything to go by.
Back to the Hello Hitty restaurant in Beijing - we wouldn't fancy being a waiter there...
...or a customer, from the looks of it.
