Got the back end raised on jacks. Removed all the stock bushings and end links, but cannot figure how the hell to get the stock RSB out of its "space". I saw a video on an 8th gen Si, and it just drops right out. On my 15' Si there's a bar that runs under the gas tank, plus a bunch of plastic shielding, which doesn't allow the bar to drop. I was hoping not to have to start gutting the bottom...

Any tips on removal? About to install Progress 22mm RSB and moog bushings & endlinks. First time doing a RSB swap...

Take the plastic covers off...then you just have to work at it playing with angles to get it out.

You have to remove the plastic piece and the metal bar.

Remove both screws on that metal brace that goes over the sway bar. I just slightly bent the small metal tab that holds it in and pulled it down. Near impossible without this step

Edit: it is possible with bar in place, but for a first timer like myself when i installed. Save your self a headache and frustration and remove bar

Thanks guys. I removed a lot of plastic shielding, the exhaust heat shield and completely took out the metal bar. I think it was challenging mainly cause I did it all on my back in the driveway and first time. Def not hard at all, just a lot of crap in the way to access the sway bar. But dayum! Love the way it drives now! This should be the first upgrade for a 9th Si...

@RedShiftChris - Digging the 22mm Progress RSB. Ordered this a couple months ago on your site and got the upgraded Moog endlinks and bushings. Will def be looking for coilovers to replace my Tein S.techs in near future - any info on brands or recommendations would be great!
