I don't know how you would be able to get anything but super sticky tires to hook up with that much power/wt

I run 345 Michelin Super Sports on a 430 HP vette, and can break those loose from a dig.

Looks like the Bugatti runs 365's in the rear.

I didn't get to watch the whole video did it say about price? I know the base elise isnt too much and the exige isnt crazy expensive for what your getting either. I wonder the cost to turn it into something as crazy as the venom gt

they said around a million dollars for it

The 750 hp Hennessey Venom GT price starts at 600,000 USD while the 1,200 hp version starts at 1,000,000 USD.

^Im on tapatalk but imagine i just put the "s*** bricks" thing

Yeah i knew the Bugatti price i didnt think the venom would be as much. But i guess it makes sense that the 1200hp venom would be close. Still an awesome car though

It helps when the motor sits over your rear wheels ;)

Prob why you see him doing 3rd gear pulls in the vid and not 1st gear pulls from a stop.

It might be like other super cars launch system, you mash the gas peddle and the sensors\computers launch you perfectly

I have traction control on the vette, but you can plow through it easily. It won't absolutely prevent wheel spin, or save you from making poor decisions.

I tried to do a controlled launch the other day for someone, and the ambient temp was 25F. I dumped the clutch, and the wheels just spun on the pavement.

I would assume the same exists on the Hennessy Venom.
