Has anyone had any issues with their HFP kits ? , i have had the drivers side kit replaced on account that it wasn't fitting tight to the body ( there was a gap at the top, between the door and the wheel opening ) the dealer replaced it and now the whole damn kit seems to have slipped back so that there is a 3/8 inch gap where the kit attaches to the wheel well and the whole front of it is loose.

Like do i just have terrible luck or are there others out there with issues ?

I am so frustrated with this car that if i didn't owe so much on it i would have traded it in already.

Signed one very unhappy HFP owner

i will go grab a couple of pictures in a bit here so that you can see what i mean,

have had nothing but issues with this car, the interior door sills were replaced, the drivers hfp kit was replaced, the alignment was way out of whack, the passenger door wasn't installed correctly, burns oil, had a dead battery when we picked it up originally, the weather strip on the top of the passenger door has come off numerous times. Considering this is My first New car and my first Honda i am very disappointed so far i expected to not have any issues when i bought a new car

Been there done that. The side skirts are horrible, especially if they weren't done perfectly.

You guys have Lemon Laws in Canada? That is an awful lot of problems.

you can see when you open the door it is rubbing on the rubber trim on the kit and you can see the gap that has opened up on the rear of the kit,

Sorry if i am ranting on but i am feeling very frustrated today, the service managed at the dealership has been on holidays and i can't get in to see him until monday when he returns

I don't want to be a dick to the guy cause he has been very good at looking after the warranty issues but i am beginning to loose patience

Bet you got the old tape, honda will fix it if they put it on,if you did it,good luck you may have to do a redo.

No the car was purchased with the kit as one of the 400 HFP cars that were sold in Canada in 2012 , only thing i have done to the car really was tint the windows and replace the HFP floor mats with the weathertech ones. The car was even stored for the winter and still only has 18,000 kms or 11,000 miles on it

My suspicion is that you are dealing with human error. The skirts are put on by hand, and it looks like the installer didn't know what 'parallax' error is. These are shipped stock to the dealer, and the dealer installs the HFP parts. The skirt in question is held on with 3M two-sided automotive tape and is installed by hand, the installer may not have taken precise measurements either time.
