HFP suspension question

I was wondering if anybody else with a hfp suspension has an issue with swaying on the highway, a real airy feeling? This has been happening since the day I bought the car. I have taken it to honda and got them to test drive it with me and they told me that is just the way that it drives. If this is the case how can I reduce the swaying?? This is just driving me crazy.

Thanks!

Check your tire pressure
Alignment
Tie Rods

Possibly your alignment is off, but I would check the tire pressure as well. ;)

I had honda check all of that, and I check my tire pressure constantly because the swaying drives me crazy

I have had the same issue since being on coils, I have found it goes away after a bit and also some days are worse than others....for example when it is windy. Best recommendation is above where @Michal006 says tired pressure and alignment. Both of those help a lot for me each time they are done

Do you recommend sway bar upgrade for anyone with coilovers or just him?
By sway bar upgrade, i mean rear sway bar upgrade. Lol. It's good for anyone who likes to drive their car aggressively. It also gives more stability on the rear end. Either a stock car or a car with a mild to aggressive suspension setup can benefit from it.

what size and brand sway bar would you reccomend? Thanks for all the help everyone. Sorry for the late reply, I'm just waking up from backshift

I'm not sure if the 2013 Si Coupe already has the large 20mm rear sway bar. I do know that the 2013 Sedans do. If your current rear sway bar is 18mm, go with the 22mm Progress rear sway bar. If your car has the 20mm, go with the 24mm Progress.

Dar beat me to it.

Larger rear sway bar should help tremendously with the loose floaty feeling on the highway. Depending on what year car you have the front and rear sway bar sizes have been changing so be sure to get one that is appropriate for your car as Dar mentioned.

Also don't be quick to discount the small change in size from even a 20mm bar to a 22mm bar. The difference is the sum of squares .

On the 2012/2013 I think the rear sway is still 19mm. I didn't notice a difference in coupe/sedan but Ill see if I can find the numbers somewhere...

This is in reference to a 3mm increase on the 2012/2013: The difference in the size of swaybars is the sum of squares. The Progress bar is a 34% increase over the 19mm, which I think is stock size on the Si anyway.

I do know that the 14' has a 20mm rear sway but again, I am not sure of the difference in coupe/sedan for 2012/13 and also Im not sure what the new front sway sizes are either yet. They did change some of the front end link lengths so that can certainly vary the effectiveness of swapping the rear bars.

In any case, I would try the 22mm bar first as you can pick up the Progress rear sway for under $200. It's a great bang for the buck mod and can/will improve the handling of the car.

Unnecessary unless you want the bling factor. They do nothing on this chassis.

A larger bar will help reduce swaying on the highway, but it will reduce handling as well.

Front sway bar, I mean. A larger front sway bar will result to more understeer. A larger rear sway bar is more beneficial for fwd cars.

I have not been on point for the past couple of days. Lol.

Haha ok thanks. I am going to have to order one today, hopefully this takes care of the problem!
