Holy replica Batmobile, Batman!
Putsch Racing has put a Batmobile up for bid on eBay, with a staggering $620,000 "buy it now" price-tag.
It's street legal and is touted as the "only Turbine Powered Bat Car."
Built in five months, the Batmobile is a replica of the one used in the 1989 "Batman" movie.
The engine has 365-horsepower and is from a decommissioned military helicopter. When the car is started, it sounds like it's ready for take-off.
Putsch Racing wanted to complete a feat that had been "relegated to the fictitious," and seem to take great pride in creating a turbine powered car.
The car can reach a top speed of 180 mph, and requires either Jet A, kerosene or diesel fuel.
Despite the price-tag, Putsch Racing are willing to accept the "best offer" they receive, so it will remain to be seen how much the Batmobile goes for in the end.
The auction sends Sept. 5.
