How do you remove the factory amp?

I can see it under the driver's side dash but how do you physically do it? I'm guessing you lie on your back but do you need to remove the front seat? It's a really tight fit in the driver's footwell.
 
seat is easy to remove if you wanted to do it that way. id imagine you have to take the kick panel under the steering wheel off as well.

part 5 is the premium amp. Part 12 is the bolt pictured above. It's hard to imagine it's just one bolt, but that's what this diagram is showing.

I don't think so as it's just off center of the steering wheel. My issue is more "How do I physically fit myself into the foot well to do the job?"
 
You just fit man. I do this all day at work. Lol.
 
It’s a right is passage to have to contour yourself like a pretzel to do any work under the front dash.
