How to peel an entire head of garlic in under 10 seconds

what the hell is "wala"? does he mean "voila"? for a website named "saveur" you'd think they know the French words they use...
 
i got all excited when i first found this and showed it to all my friends.... they just looked at me and said yea weve known that for a while
 
i did, and then i peeled garlic, all by myself
