Im trying to install my HIDS before the storm comes..I took off the positive which was easy but now im trying to get the negative off. I took off the top 10mm nut and washer but it wont pull off...what am i doing wrong?! Ive been awake for like 23 hours so its prolly somethin simple im looking past..someone please help asap!

Might have some corrosion....try wiggling around or prying it up with a screwdriver.

Whenever I've done anything involved my hids, I take my bumper and headlights off. It's simple and gives you plenty of room to work with.

Lightly hit it with a rubber mallet to wiggle it loose.

we had to replace the battery in my Civic when we picked it up from the dealership and we had trouble getting the cables off as well, It will come

For the future ppl..........
Negative off first, on last. Just be sure to isolate the negative terminal after you take it off so it doesn't touch any other metal.

wonderful after loosening and retightening my positive now it wont get tight and it seems like i bent it..Doesnt look easy to replace either. I got this car not to **** **** up and i am already go figure...How am i gonna explain this one to honda

Pics of the situation? The battery terminal is bent?

It sounds like the bent piece on the positive side is just the short bracket (cheap), and is only bolted to the main harness. And the reason it won't tighten is because you over tightened , or the clip isn't aligned when trying to tighten it.
As far as it being bent don't try to straighten it, do try to tighten it back up and take it to the dealer.

I doubt the dealer will warranty it cuz i took the battery out to put hids in..the terminal looks like its wired into the main harness and cant just be replaced..fml cant even drive my car

Post a pic

Ended up buyin some terminal post caps at autozone that make the terminal post bigger in diameter and i got it to tighten down. Terminal wont go all the way down on the post now but atleast its snugged up to it.

Makes it sound like it's still not resolved? If we saw pics of what's going on, we'd probably be able to be of some help, or provide suggestions on how to fix the situation. People can give you suggestions all day, but if they don't have a clear picture of what's going on, it's kind of pointless.

Heres a pic of the terminal before i rigged it to work. This is the state it was in when i could fully tighten it but lift it right off.
