A video has been released of a female orca dragging a trainer underwater during a performance in 2006 at SeaWorld in San Diego.

The footage of the incident which happened during a show in November 2006 has been released to the public after being given as evidence in a case against the theme park, which alleges SeaWorld has endangered the lives of many its trainers.

The female orca, called Kasatka, can be seen behaving aggressively towards experienced trainer Ken Peters by clamping her jaws around his leg and dragging him around her tank.

Mr Peters struggles to pry his foot from Kasatka’s clutch as the 5,000lb whale thrashes back and forth dragging him underwater.

When the whale eventually resurfaces, Mr Peters manages to free himself and swims to the side of the pool to get medical treatment.

Well it wouldn't have taken me 6 years to decide what was happening, it's apparent that when you play with a 5000 lb. animal that it's possible that one might think it's to rough and the other might not, after all he did let him come up for air on several occasions.

Of course it was also never shown how the whale was taught to do the preform for it's "Master".....

I vote for the whale.
