anyone who runs koni yellows what firmness do you have them set to? @RedShiftChris i believe you know a bit about these any suggestions?

How much did you get yours for? These are one of the options I am considering to replace my stock struts. I will be following your progress with these.

A:There is no single best adjustment setting for your KONIs because every driver has different preferences for comfort, performance, performance modifications and roads to drive on. For most vehicles, we suggest that new KONIs be installed in the full soft position. (the standard setting right out of the box) to take advantage of the balance of ride comfort and handling designed by the KONI ride development engineers. If the car has performance upgrades (springs, wheel/tire packages, etc.) or the driver wants the car a bit more aggressive, most people find the optimum setting in the 1/2 to one full turn from the full soft range. Over the extended life of the damper or if the driver wants a specific firm handling characteristic, the dampers can be adjusted up higher. Very rarely will KONI ever need to be adjusted to the full firm setting.

I think chris usually says soft in the front and full hard in the rear. I have mine set about halfway front and rear. I think it's 1 1/2 turns stiff from full soft. It's been pretty good so far. I let the weight of the engine contribute to the front feeling softer but I may back them off half a turn.

lets just say i got VERY lucky. im on these and h&r springs and i could never go back to stock. next time i go out to my car im gonna tweak my settings a half turn in front and a full turn in back

For Street I normally run them at full soft or a 1/2 turn from full soft which works well for most Sport Springs. When doing track or auto X it comes down to other variables like tires, alignment and other suspension parts. Most tracks have test and tune evenings where you can play with the adjustments to fine tune the set up

Only your back. Otherwise they work fine. No issues with driving them full stiff daily but that's probably on the stiff side for your spring rates.

Just watching........ But..... I think it's a try by fault issue when ppl switch from stock shocks to a much better shock & spring..... and that is, my stock system sucks so I'm going to buy good stuff, and since it has all these adjustments, I'm going to use them and crank it up...... but in reality since the better parts are so much better it's not necessary to have to move them much from an average setting, where as if the stock ones had adjustments stiffening them though time as they wear out would seem like a good choice.
Even with new aftermarket shocks they'll need to be rebuilt with time...... And one thing a lot of ppl should not do, is when adjusting the valves of shocks, is to "NOT" seat(touch is fine, pressure isn't) them at their end of travel, whether going full stiff, or full soft......... It will damage the seats.
