Lady Gaga ditches music for office job
The music business can be a cruel industry, one day you celebrate reaching a billion YouTube plays, the next you are forced to do a nine to five job.
Lady Gaga took a hiatus from the world of pop music for a day to become guest editor of the global free newspaper, the Metro International.
Creating a good first impression can be tricky however, as the global superstar ditched normal office attire for high heels, fishnet stockings and a black brassiere-like top.
Meeting her new colleagues at the newspaper's London headquarters, Gaga joked: "I'm sorry if my business attire is a little different."
Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, took charge of the morning editorial meeting, offering opinions on a range of topics from the Japan earthquake to bullying.
The popstar's editorial stint was only a brief break from promoting her second album Born This Way, which is available in stores from May 23.
