lowering springs

Hello im also new to the forum this is my first time posting im just really thinking it deep weather i will get a lowering spring or coilover but my budget is a little bit off any good advice o. Those lowering spring ls out their? I saw truhart and d2 springs are cheaper.. here's a picture of my car just to shareScreenshot_2014-08-22-10-06-06.png

Welcome to the forum.

I see the truharts are very very cheap. I think you will probably get what you pay for with those. 2" is a pretty big drop too. The design looks like it puts a lot of coils very close together. I see coil bind and noises being an issue with those.

I know a few people have D2 coil overs but I don't think I've seen anyone with just their springs.

Hey! Thanks for the welcome your car look great! Do u have more shots of your car. And if ever i buy the D2 springs do i have to buy something else? What are those struts for?

I'm thinking I might go with D2 springs cause coilovers are too much for me.. and my wheels spec is 18x8.5 its sticking out a little will i have to fender roll it? I dont want to camber my car i just want it to be low and still drives like new if i install the d2 springs..
 
thanks man! check my build in my sig for more pics. the struts, shocks, dampeners whatever the term is are higher end shocks that are a bit stiffer and work better with springs
 
Depending on how low you go and your offset you will rub. Tire size makes a big difference also. What size tires do you have?
 
What brand and model name of the wheel is it. If you know it could be googled just to be sure. +30 sounds reasonable for the way they look though. 225 width is perfect fit for that wheel but going low means you will most likely run into some rubbing.

The guy who really knows his low and wide stuff is @sk8nava . Im sure he will see this tag soon and be able to offer you some advice on low, slow, and wide. His car is the definition of that + style.

If i lower it 2" its okay not to do the camber? I'm fine with the fender roll cause this is my dd that's why i don't want to do the camber.. i'll check it out i'm really researching everything before i do it..
 
As you lower the car it will naturally gain negative camber in the rear. The suspension setup on this car causes the wheel to camber inwards, negative, under load. The lower you make the car, the more camber you will have. Most people buy camber arms in the rear to be able to adjust the camber angle. Either more negative to fit larger wheels or less to reduce tire wear. Balancing a wide wheel with a reasonable camber setting depends on how low you are and how much fender work you are willing to do.

Rolling the fenders means you will be able to run less camber to fit the wheels. You will most likely need to invest in camber arms to adjust out and reduce the amount of negative camber you have. This will save you tires tremendously. 2" will probably put you somewhere between -1.5 and -3 degrees. If that's acceptable to you then you will not need camber arms. With a fender roll you will probably fit those wheels ok without running more camber or buying the arms.
