Hi

I bought the Mugen Grille from eBay as it was on sale.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/FIT-2012-HO...ash=item25b3f95f6c:g:n9kAAOSwFnFWAvlt&vxp=mtr

However, when I compare a member here, Arm0ged0n, who has the Mugen front end on his 2012, it looks like

a) His Mugen grille does not have the plastic MESH to cover the center gap, but mine does. Is it okay leaving the gap open? I am thinking about a small rock hitting the radiator thru the small gap and damaging the radiator.

b) My Mugen emblem provided has a hood but the fitment thru the holes is inaccurate. And it seems like his Mugen emblem is sticked on with the tape.

If anyone has Mugen front end, please chip in and discuss. Thank you so much for your help.

Tak

There are "mugen-style" items, and actual mugen items you can buy from mugen distributors. Countless companies in china make replica mugen stuff. You may see 20 variations of the same "exact part" being made from different factories overseas. The authorized mugen one is below and runs like $400. There is only 1 distributor allowed to sell mugen parts in the United States, so you can imagine almost everything sold online is "fake".

Hi Webby

Thanks for your information.

I know the one I bought is a fake one as I have not seen a real one available for sale in United States.
If you know which distributor sells a real Mugen Grille, may you please let know so I can check it out?
I check King motor sports but don't see it available.

Thanks
Tak

You'd likely have to get king motorsports to import it from a Mugen distributor in Asia. The Japanese market didn't get a 9th gen civic, so that is why you don't see it through King. I'm sure they could still get it.
