I'm intrested in doing a retrofit on my new 2014 si sedan, I'm thinking of purchasing 3 morimoto elite 55watt 6000k hid kits first from TRS for lows, fogs and highs this will already be $500 for the hids so I plan to run these in the stock housings temporary till I can get some projectors and I know it's a bad idea but I'm not sure how they'll look in these stock civic housings, I'm plan to unfuse the drl function And just use hids for high beams, I'm doing this cause I want to run a quad projector setup so I can paint all the housings black to match, also am going to run switchback turn signals, I need advice on if anyone's done a quad retrofit yet on these headlights I'm going to run the new ds2 mini 3.0 projectors in both low and high housings but need to know if there's away to adjust the high beam side so it doesn't have a cutoff line or make the cutoff line higher for the high beams? I also thought about running the bi xenon in the low side so I would have double highs lol but I don't see a 9006 bi xenon bulb kit thanks

I would wait to do the retro if you're wanting to go that way. Don't run plug and play hids in your high beams. Even if you get around the drl issues, you can't really get good performance out of hids in the highs. It takes a while for the bulbs to warm up, and if you are flashing them on/off much, you'll shorten the life of the bulbs/ballasts.

Ok well could I still do a projector in the high beam and run a led Cree bulb for my highs and just keep drl function instead of running a hid kit in highs

You mentioned using mini d2s projectors. Those are bixenon projectors. They turn the highs on by just moving a solenoid/shield down. You aren't using a different bulb for the highs. It just moves the shield down to allow more light to escape. If you look at the video you can see that both projectors are on during low beams being turned on, and then the shield moves down when you turn the highs on. It's just one d2s bulb in each projector.
