So I was finally able to find some bulbs that give off a nice white/blueish light, kinda like HIDs but without all the hassle and install. Anyone else running these?

Honestly I wouldn't get blue bulbs. That's just asking cops to pull you over.

The glass is blue on the bulb but the light output is not. I had a set in my DRL/Hibeam slot for a while. I liked the way the blue glass reflected off the bowl behind the bulb. I did it just for looks but I did think they were a pretty decent bulb.

This is the effect: It's hard to photograph what it really looks like but this angle shows the reflection and if you are in front of the car the whole reflector is blue looking.

As long as it's a nice blue tint I'm ok. I just don't want a ricey look.

You'll need HID's or LED bulbs to achieve that look I believe. The color temp looks like 6k to me. I know the nokya bulbs say 7k color temp but I don't know if they will have quite that appearance to them. Halogen bulbs usually don't have the "crisp" white with the tinge of blue the same way HID/LED bulbs do. In any case they are a good bulb. Take some pics once you get them installed and let us know how it turns out. They might turn out really nice in the end. I'd definitely like to see them. I hope I'm wrong and they do look super sharp.

EDIT: For $20 it's definitely worth a try.

Ohh yeahh deffinately. Funny thing is I bought some ultra white sylvania bulbs from autozone. Paid $60 after tax for em and when I installed the looked no different then the stock ones lol.

I tried similar bulbs, maybe the same ones. I was disappointed with them. They don't deliver what they claim. A little bit better than Halogen, but, as Nix said, not anything like the light HIDs give.

Found it. These are the ones I had and was disappointed. Like I said, a little better than halogens, but meh....
The Nokyas are better than these ones.

Although rated at 7000K, the Nokya Acrtic white color is mostly white with a hint of blue. If you want a different look without going HID/LED they are an easy inexpensive way to change the color. You won't get any extra light from these bulbs as it is more a cosmetic upgrade. HID's are much brighter and are available in higher color temperatures that will give you a much better color if you are wanting some blue in the light.
