Anybody out there like to or want to skydive?

I did it over a year ago. It was insane! Glad I didn't have breakfast that morning. The high G turns after the chute was open got to me. I think I would do it again and drop the extra cash to have pics taken.

I was never interested in pics. My wife wanted them until she realized they would probably make her face look like this:

Yeah, the last tandem my wife did, the instructor yanked on the left toggle ALL THE WAY DOWN. :turbospin:

4 jumps at the army airborne schools and never again ;/

oh i loved it, i don't get to jump too often because I'm assigned to a hospital.

Why didn't you make your 5th jump to get your wings(Army), (6 jumps Navy last one is free fall).

One thing when you spin the chute it will cut time in the air which will put the instructor in and position to take someone else $$$ up sooner.... BS

She said she was sitting on the ground waiting for me for a while and I jumped out about 30 seconds after her. It may have gotten him down faster, but he was the first one out and he had to wait for four others to come down and load into the truck. He was a nomadic instructor. Probably needed some money and didn't really care too much.

squiggy ....... If you can do 20 30 min in a tunnel you can not only equal that to 20 30 jumps but doing it in long sessions will be more effective on what it takes to control your body....... just turning your head to the right to find your rip cord will put you in a right turn, so you'd want to lift your left leg to counter the turn. It would probably be a good thing to have a instructor plugged into a ear bud to give you the body positions.

injured on the 4th jump.
PLF....PLF ............ Sorry to hear that......... Now with these new chutes(Wings/squares) you land like a fly, and don't have to wear combat gear on landing. :D

I have always wanted to jump out of a perfectly good airplane... had the opportunity 3 years ago, but it conflicted with me being out of town at a huge concert. The concert won out. :rockwoot:The closest I came to that sort of adrenaline rush would have been the Boulder City zip line... that was crazy awesome. On the first run ( out of 4 ) down the mountain, you can barely make out the next tower / station.
