The stock pieces of @$#5 oem tires (Continental ContiProContact) just about cost me a trip to the hospital. At Hwy speeds (75mph) the car started to slip out from under me with only 400 miles on the car. RRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Anyone have any issue with these tires. Thanks. Oh and that was on dry pavement. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE TIRES

That is extremely bizarre. I've driven crap cars with crap tires at 75mph with no issue. Those are good tires, on a nice automobile.

Maybe you hit a patch of oil?

I wish it was that easy. It was a very disturbing morning on my way home when that happened. Since I've got the car its been pulling to the left uncommanded. I have the correct pressures but the left front tire appears to be lower then the others. Not sure but will be removing the tires pretty quick

It is possible the car could start to get a bit squirrely at higher speeds. Especially and EX. A bigger sway bar will help with that.

Just saw your second post. Get your alignment checked. Bad alignment and high speeds are no good.

Thanks I'm having the alignment done and four new treads put on

What were the weather conditions? Was this in a corner? Perhaps taking the corner to fast? Cars usually dont just randomnly start sliding around on peopleb unless something is really bad.

It could have been caused by what ever has been pulling your car in the 1st place, as far as the tyres I have 20k+ on mine with no problems and have had it up to speeds out of curiosity as to how it will handle, but I do have a rear "Progress" 22mm sway bar on mine.

Dude you have 400 miles on the car. Take it in under warranty before you start with the swaybar and other handling mods. Mod it after its fixed dont try to fix it with mods lol.

It's fixed all good time to try and figure out how to get my pioneer installed without all the error codes
