Yeah, that's your airbag. If you open that it might explode and hurt you badly. Don't open it. Stop trying to pry it open. There are lots of wires and sensors. Besides I don't think you need to open that to change stereo components.
What are you trying to do anyway?

SRS stands for supplemental restraint system aka Airbag.
All you need to do is take off the driver side panels (above and below the steering column) and the cover below the stereo and then you can pop out the panel in the center. Plenty of room to work with for a swap.
Meh, I think we just got instagram/fb'ed by this guy. He'll never reply since he didn't get the answer he wants. Id be surprised to hear from him again.

Personally, I wouldn't mess with that. I'd bring it to a Honda dealership's attention...especially if it's still under warranty, but that's just me...
