Pet behind dashboard, please help. 2012 Civic.

My pet baby monitor lizard which is about the length of my forearm ran behind my dashboard from beneath the steering wheel area.

I have removed most panels (radio, both screens, glove box etc.) I have not removed the rest of the frame of the dash though, and I dont know how to. The last place I saw him is in the attached photo. Could he have gotten into the AC from here? I already plugged all the vents for the ac I can see from the drivers POV.

Last place I saw him, he poked his head out and went inside, possibly to the right

really sorry. I wish I could be of help, but I think you've removed just about the same as I've seen anyone remove for either installing a backup camera or doing a radio install.

I think you're the same as far as removing dash pieces as this ^ plus you removed the radio area. Can you lure him with food in some way?
