FORT PIERCE, Fla. -- Police in Fort Pierce are trying to find two women who stole about 75 brand deodorants from Winn-Dixie.
The theft occurred late Monday afternoon at the Winn-Dixie on U.S. Highway 1.Fort Pierce police said surveillance video showed two women taking sticks of deodorant off the shelves and placing them in a purse in their shopping cart. Police said the women walked away and later returned, dumping more deodorant in another purse.The women walked out of the store without paying for them and drove off in a minivan.Police said the brands of deodorant were Gillette and Secret.

I wonder if stores will eventually have to post signs before you enter that say, "Any bags, purses, etc. will be searched before leaving the store."
