New Orleans police released a sketch Friday of an unidentified man wanted for a Central City murder in January.
The man is accused of fatally shooting 25-year-old Kendrick Gibbs on Jan. 25, said police spokeswoman Remi Braden. Gibbs died instantly when he was shot down near the corner of Sixth and Danneel Streets.
Detectives believe the suspect spends a lot of time in the area where the murder occurred, Braden said.
Police describe him as a black man with a dark complexion in his mid-20's, around 5-foot-6 and weighing around 260 pounds.
