2013 - 49k miles, and stock suspension besides upgraded rear sway and spacers.

Hey guys, I know its been a while since I have posted here but I have been having this problem lately that does not seem to be getting any better. When on the freeway at speeds over 70mph or so the car almost feels like I am inside of a wind storm, that meaning when I am driving I feel as if I could lose control of the car at any point because the suspension doesnt feel grounded like it usually does, the feeling is amplified on any curve that I am on as well on the freeway. I thought for sure it was tire related, come to find out a few of my tires were bad so I ended up getting a whole new set of Yokohama YK580's for free, through discount tire. After a few days, the problem has come back and I am just dumb founded....I had the suspension checked back in Aug by firestone and the dealer too which led them to tell me it was a tire. Could it be that something on an Axle is loose? Or could it be related to my spacers that I have? Which I will gladly take off at this point....I should also note the car feels like it is almost "wobbling" when I am in traffic and moving slowly. Anyways, any sort of help is appreciated thanks guys!

For the next test, I would pop the spacers off and see how the car feels.

How many mm on the spacers? Brand? Did you swap any bushings or end links when you did the rear sway upgrade? Progress 22mm?

@Dar-Dar knows quite a bit about bushings & maybe what to look at. @Nix

I have the Garageline spacers, dont remember the MM, I want to say 20MM? I think that is all they make. Also there wasnt any bushing changes nor endlinks when the rear sway was upgraded nope. Thanks for the help webs

See if the swaybar bushings/brackets did not loosen over time. The swaying usually means that it can be coming from the (anti) swaybar and its components.

Ah okay, good point, I'll get under this weekend and check it out. hopefully that is all it is, because man it is aggravating!

Still have not had time to get underneath and chack to see if the sway bar compnents etc are loose at all, but the best way I can describe it is -

The ride quality has become terrible, the pedals kind of vibrate and its basically me feeling everything one the road. That being said, I also go to make any sudden movement on the interstate (such as just change lanes relatively quick) and it feels like the car is going to spin out or just lose control completely. It is very odd because it never had issues feeling solid, but the car literally feels as if an axle is going to fail at any minute, which I know the car is fine, since it was checked literally a month ago but still there is something upsetting the geometry of the suspension causing it to feel off at all times.

Just take it in to Midas for a quick once over/"quote." Then tell them you will have to bring it in in a couple of days.

Good point, Ill end up there or Firestone, since I have lLifetime alignments there Ill have em look it over while they are at it

Check your lug nuts. It definitely sounds like something is loose. I would also pull the wheels if you have time and check the bolts on the spacers as well. You can also just use the trunk jack and take a peek at the rear sway mounting points. Don't get under the car but just raise it enough you can look with a flashlight. Start with the easy stuff.

All great points nix, I will be removing the spacers entirely this weekend and then will check the sway bar and brackets etc. hope all is well man!
