It's A Fast Pig!
I recently had a collapsed right front engine mount. Yes I drive an 8th gen but since the R18 engine has continued some of you may have the same issue. Honda did issue a TSB for 06-07's but my 08' has now had the early mount failure. Im at 59,138 so I just squeaked in under the 5yr/60k warranty. I don't know if they have updated the hydraulic mount to something better on the 9th gens.

This is approx a $500 repair if you are out of warranty.(the first est. they gave me before I mentioned the warranty.)

Here's an in cabin vid I shot this morning before getting it fixed. It is worst in P,R,N and gets better when you put it in D. You should be able to hear the increase in noise from P to R and then a huge drop off when I put it in D. This happened rapidly also, I did not notice a gradual increase in noise.

well, it's good to see you got it taken care of under warranty. Did you ever see the mount yourself?

No I didn't. The car feels so much better though and some of the odd shakes and stutters that I attributed to a cheap auto trans are also gone. All the new parts stick out like a sore thumb under the hood.

Man! So fortunate to get this right before the 60K mark.
