Great information for anyone that has a good technical / engineering background that wants to learn more about the various systems at work in making a vehicle perform in all aspects of racing, but also can translate over into the street.

If you are serious about performance, you owe it to yourself to read this!

This book isn't available at Amazon, Chapters, etc, but you may be able to find a used copy somewhere from a student or order it from the link above.

have you read this, or how'd you hear about it?

Reading... it's more of a textbook for the real math nut... but that's OK by me. I had it referred to me by a good friend who was on a Formula SAE team in school... he's also an audio engineer friend of mine that works out of Chicago. He had a lot of experience before hand, and while he was in school we chatted back and forth about some of the concepts of intake and exhaust tuning, camshaft overlap, scavenging and the like.

His team went on to win the championships in Michigan that year.
