Random Question: Thoughts on this Craigslist find

So my dad found this Civic on craiglist. I was saying there's no way the black stripe is stock...but he was curious. Am I totally wrong here or, or is the hood/roof/trunk being black custom.

not stock... it's been painted. Originally thought it was probably done with vinyl, but it looks like it has way too much depth to the shine. I vote painted.. - this is not stock

swap out the red honda emblem, and this is the stock grill. The grill in the craigslist ad is aftermarket too.

2003 Honda Civic SI - $5950 (South Arlington)

Great Honda Civic Si with low miles of 84k only. Car runs and drives like brand new. No accident or dents on car.
