New member to this group. First post. Hello to all lol

We all skunk2 springs are cheap. But are they worth it? I have a 2012 si and i'm in the market for springs. No i don't want coilovers. Skunk2 says that you should combine the springs with good aftermarket shocks though. On stock 17" rims, would these springs be too low? I've seen pics, but never really heard anything about them. I don't want to rub everywhere (maybe here and there but i still want it to be driveable) and i do not want to have to buy a camber kit or aftermarket shocks. If not skunk2, would h&r be a good choice? Less drop but still good looking. Thanks.

welcome! i had mines for almost a year now... and honestly for springs theyre good cant complain and a very good drop for springs...

i dont remember rubbin once.... i didnt even get an allignment after the install didnt screw with toe or an allignment but u should still get one

okay cool thanks. i'd definately spend less money to be lower than every other set of springs lol

You will probably want to pick up a set of rear camber arms since the drop with the skunk2 springs will result in excessive negative camber. It will wear your tires quickly. Also you will wear out your stock struts with a large drop much quicker.

The H&R provide a slight enough drop that you can most likely get away without the camber arms or too much wear. Same with the struts.

There is more to it than just banging in a set of drop springs. You certainly can but just be aware of the effects.

I had -2.7 on the left and -3.2 on the right rear tires. The alignment didn't change too much in the back but I opted to not get the camber arms and just get my tires rotated more often.
