I got a 2012 si and I wanna put springs on it for now. if I buy the skunk2 springs....will it damage my factory struts? or if you guys know of any better brand then please let me know.

I'd say they'd be pretty comparable to any other drop spring out there. Well, one could argue that something with a 1" drop will potentially last longer than skunk2's 2" drop. To put a value on how much longer the lesser drop will last... totally unknown. There are people on the 8th gen site who went 75-100k lowered on the stock shocks. Some had blown a shock in 20k miles. It's going to depend on how hard you are on the car, the road quality, etc. Some people autox their car, while others drive on pristine highways all day long.
