So i bought my si in June and installed my h.i.ds in July. Had them on and the left hid burnt out. Or so i thought.... i took out the bulb to see if the bulb burnt, but when i switched it to the other side it worked. I then thought it was the ballast, but when i tried to install my stock headlight on; it wuldnt turn on. I tried it with multiple bulbs, but still no light. I then saw if the connector even had a current running to it, but it didnt. Did my connector blow out because of my hids? Or was it just bad wiring on Hondas part?

You could have a bad relay? I don't have a manual handy, but your manual would say what one it would be for low/high beams. Or, it could be that your hid's killed part of your stock headlight harness. I'm guessing you did not have a wire harness with relays for the HID's? Can you see burnt wires anywhere by pulling the stock headlight wire loom back from the connection?

no burnt wires ... and yea no relays for the H.I.Ds...never happened to me before and even had them on my old civic for three yrs.

no burnt wires ... and yea no relays
