The official price list of the 2013 Subaru BRZ has been announced for the US. The Japanese brand's rear-wheel drive sports coupe will be offered in the States in two trim levels and a choice of 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions with prices ranging from $25,495 (€19,250) to $28,595 (€21,600), not including a $750 destination charge.

For comparison, the Scion FR-S has a base MSRP of $24,200 before a $730 destination and handling fee. The same 200-horsepower 2.0-liter boxer engine powers both the FR-S and BRZ.

Among other features, the base BRZ Premium comes standard with touch-screen GPS Navigation, Bluetooth connectivity and HID headlamps, while the Limited trim level adds add Alcantara seat inserts with leather bolsters, heated seats and mirrors, dual-zone automatic climate control system, fog lights, Keyless Access & Start and body-color decklid spoiler.

I pray it is not the Scion touchscreen navigation that they are using. It is absolutely horrendous.

Is it a new touch screen, or you mean all touch screen scions are bad? I've never seen it

Well I know Scion developed a new one, and has another in the works that is similar to Toyota's EnTune.

it's not a tsx inside (if you disliked the wrx interior)

That's actually not too bad...and I don't hate the WRX interior, the layout and everything is fine, it's mainly just the one large plastic piece that swoops down from the vents to the climate controls. I still don't know what I want and surprisingly my TSX hasn't sold yet and only one person has even come to look at it. Weird since I have it priced below book and it's also priced lower that the other '08's listed in the area too...

As all Subarus are, horrific radio, but you do get the boxer rumble. Will the BRZ have unequal length headers?

It would be weird to hear a scion version with the rumble. But there are a few Saabs that have it

every thread I've read about the brz said it did not have the rumble of a wrx. They all said equal length...

I went to the Autoshow today. I'll post pics up tomorrow. I checked out the BR-Z/FR-S and didn't notice much of a difference. I'd prefer a 370z instead.

I've yet to see the scion in person... auto shows I've been to have only had the brz.
