pro civic has some tie bars by megan and im kinda thinking a little more suspension sometime in my future but how much will you feel a tie bar i really havent seen anyone on here with them.

I have both Megan tie bars, their chassis brace, and their strut bar. If you have other suspension upgrades you will feel it. Throwing a tie bar on a vehicle with stock suspension will not yield noticable gains, IMO. There's some pictures in my build thread, I forget which page.

Edit: @nat3d page 5 and 8 of my build thread, assuming they're numbered the same on the desktop site versus the mobile app.

Yeah I would do a drop first. Think of it this way: chassis braces and strut and tie bars complete the suspension.

yup. i have the fkxracing front and rear lower tie bar. when i had just those 2 on, could barely feel anything. now i have fkx racing trunk brace, x brace, and strut tower bar. car is completely different.

are the megan ez street coils decent? their like half the price of anything else... i know they make good stuff but i also know you get what you pay for

i sat in a few friends cars who have megan coils on their civic. which is their dd. i think they maxed it out too and the ride comfort isn't bad. it's just a matter of how you set it up. i just bought a set of them this weekend. it should come in monday or tuesday and i'll install it that weekend. i can give you a review maybe 2 weeks from now.

I have all hfp,fkh strut tower, rear brace, Megan front, mid and rear and it's
On rails. I'm swapping the Megan mid for a fkh mid for the six point bracing,it all made a difference

yup, the difference maker is the fkxracing xbrace vs. the meganracing h brace. i never had the megan h brace, but from looking at it, it would only have provided very minimal tightening of the suspension. xbrace really ties it all together.

Yea the 5 and 6 bolt position will be tighter, I'm welding the threaded grommets to the frame for maximum firmness.im going to do a write up comparing the two sometime in January .

Meganracing has 4-point H brace and FXKracing has 6-point X brace. More point on the brace makes chassis stiffer. X shape brace is simply better design because all four corners are interconnected together.

if I lower it on a set of ez streets what else would I need?

:yeahthat:

@nat3d I'm thinking about getting different camber arms. If I do I'll sell you my GodSpeed camber arms if you don't mind purple lol.
why are you looking to switch are the godspeed are they a lower quality? and for performance parts i love obnoxious colors lol

and i dont really understand how camber and whatnot works. i get that your stock setup is calibrated for stock but how does the aftermarket stuff work when you lower it?

I like to spend money on fancy parts lol. Yes the GodSpeed camber arms are of lower quality, however they're the best lower quality camber arms out there.

Adjustable camber arms allow you to dial in either negative or positive camber to get within spec. The stock "camber arms" are fixed and cannot be adjusted resulting in negative camber when lowering.

what are the benifits of going with a higher quality one over the godspeed?

I'm not too sure as I have only used the GodSpeed camber arms, but design and quality are probably key factors. Afterall, you get what you pay for.
