Advice needed here:

Forgive my ignorance - I have a fairly new set of 215/60 R16 Michelin X-Ice SnowTires.
I'm hoping on getting a 2012 CivicLX in the next few months. I live in Ontario.

* Would these Michelin's fit the Civic ok?? ...once they're remounted on 16" wheels? *

Tires are currently on a '98 Forester that I'm selling, and I'd rather not part with them as they've only been used about 1 winter's worth, and are in very good condition.

It's a tad bigger than what is recommended. The stock tires for the civic is sized 205/55/16.

215/55 R16 ........ Is usable
Don't know about the 60 part ?

I'd say go for it. It's only 5% off, which I think is on the edge of how much deviance I would run personally. But just think of it this way....

When your speedo says you are going 60mph you are really going 63. So just drive exactly the limit and you'll always be just a little over and never have a problem.

^ I think that is the main thing. Your speedo will be off. I think there is more than enough room to run the tires on a stock setup. It's just a matter of your speedometer and whatnot being off.
