I guess it's more so the drivers of those vehicles not the actual cars but they might not be going 'fast' per say just over the speed limit.

I agree. The driver is really what determines the risk of a speeding ticket, not necessarily the vehicle itself. However, maybe some of these cars just have a sportier feel that tempts drivers to push the limits a bit.
