Tsudo 2012 Civic DX LX EX N1 JDM Cat-Back exhaust

I'd hope it's much quieter, just installed a dp with mine and it's LOUD. I'm looking to get a new cb now. Without the dp it was good and I still love the tone

thanks webby and XdemonicfleasX, it seems to me an R18 sounds very similar to a K20, whereas a K24 is alot throatier... and you are right X, i put a header and 2"(so called) race exhaust on my 7th gen and its just too loud for my liking, if i ever get motivated, will throw my cat back on her... lol funny story, its an eBay exhaust, $135(plus $80, parcel post) cat back, 9 yrs old and not rusting, sure shes oxidized, but could easily polish her up... it actually sounds like the silencer is installed on the video i posted, but it doesnt look like it, its just too quiet to me.... lol

Its going to be loud! The only thing stopping me from selling mine and getting the invidia q300 is the angled tip.

so you have the angled tip version? not the N1? or are both N1's with a straight or angled tip? i wish i had a choice for my EX, i prefer an angled tip... i also wonder how different is the EX,DX,LX 2.5" system compared to the 2.75" SI version? also doesnt also your intake play a big part in how loud your exhaust is..?

Yeah your intake does play a big part on how loud your exhaust is. More air coming in = more air goimg out. Yeah n1 isnt angled.

Do you have to have an SI rear bumper to fit an exhaust on the lx/ex/dx? Mine does not have a cut out for an exhaust

in Canada im pretty sure the EX rear bumper is different than the DX and LX.. my EX does have a cutout... but also im sure Tsudo took all the DX and LXs in consideration when they made a cat-back for them .. make sure it hangs low enough not to touch the plastic....

im pretty sure it'll work bro, the video i posted was an LX and he didnt say he had to cutout his bumper... plus the bumper cutout on my EX wouldnt make any difference i dont think..... should receive my cat-back by the end of the week i would think.. will kno more when its installed... lol everyone keeps telling me its loud, but they are all refering to the SI which has a hi-flow cat, and im pretty sure the R18 doesnt.... to me the LX with the Tsudo cat-back kinda sounds wimpy to me....

where it hooks up.. remove both aluminum belly plates... start from the rear, taking each piece off, until you get here... you need to reuse the factory sprung bolts off the cat.

Tsudo did a pretty good job, theres actually alot of room under the 9thGen civics.

what really surprised me was the pipe coming from the cat was as big as the 2.5" Tsudo exhaust. (right)
driving it was nice too, not too loud, i have a modified airbox with a K&N filter, its alot louder in the engine bay compared to stock.
i was always wondering how it stacked up to the SI cat-back Tsudo exhaust, i can guarantee its not as loud...
its quite abit louder accelerating, but once at highway speeds, not too bad, no annoying drone...

sorry for the poor quality pics, lighting sucks... it comes out diagonally, not straight, just so you have an idea, reminds me alot of mid 90s supra exhausts... which isnt a bad thing in my books ... :)

hehehe all fat exhausts run low, but its nowhere near the lowest point of the car.. even the lowest point of the exhaust is in the middle of the car.... or wait until theres an exhaust out there with a different style muffler.. the Tsudo N1 is HUGE!!! :P
