Victoria Beckham and Kate Hudson both give birth
VICTORIA Beckham and Kate Hudson have both given birth overnight.
Hudson gave birth to a boy and Beckham popped out a long-awaited girl.
The Beckham's rep confirmed to E! online that Beckham gave birth today to a healthy baby girl.
The rep said in a statement: "David and Victoria Beckham are delighted to announce the birth of their daughter. Happy and healthy, she arrived at 7:55 a.m. this morning at Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles and weighed 7 pounds 10 ounces. Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz are excited to welcome their new baby sister to the family."
Meanwhile, Hudson and her fiancé Matt Bellamy have welcomed a son.
The 32-year-old actress gave birth to a 'healthy baby boy' in Los Angeles last night her rep has confirmed to Us Weekly.
Hudson is also mother to seven-year-old Ryder who will play big brother to the new addition to their family.
A Posh name for the new arrival
Brooklyn, Cruz, Romeo… David and Victoria Beckham have never been shy about picking intriguing names for their kids, so what will they name their first daughter?
“There is no name as yet. They are going to spend a little time getting to know her before choosing the name,” a friend told The Daily Mail.
The hot money is on the couple will pick a name that pays homage to their adopted homeland, with one report suggesting Beverly is an option.
But, if the Beckhams do decide to stick to the celebrity playbook, they’ll be looking to everything from place names, to days of the week, and even fruit for inspiration for a moniker for their newborn bub.

The birth took place by Caesarean at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles.
The baby weighed 7lbs 10oz and is the first girl for the couple after three boys Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, eight, and Cruz, six.
Mrs Beckham, the former Spice Girl, has previously spoken of her desire to have a daughter.
After the birth a spokesman said: "Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz are excited to welcome their new baby sister to the family."
The couple were aware that the baby was to be a girl. In March, Beckham told People magazine: "Obviously, having three boys, you kind of expect another one, so finding out a little girl is in there is surprising, but, obviously, we are over the moon,."
Last week the player took a photograph of his heavily pregnant wife in a bikini, when she wasn't looking, and posted it on Facebook.
She had previously told Women's Wear Daily that she did not like being photographed when pregnant, saying last month: "I don't think anyone needs to see that, other than my husband. Absolutely not."
David Beckham met the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge when they arrived in Los Angeles on Friday night. On Saturday he scored the winning goal in a game for his team, LA Galaxy.
