On August 26, 1912, a man in central Norway wrapped a mysterious package and wrote a note on the brown paper parcel that read: “May be opened in 2012.” The man, Johan Nygaard, was the first mayor of the small town of Otta and left no hints as to the package contents.
One hundred years later, the Gudbrandsdal museum prepares to open package in an event that will be streamed live online.
Will it reveal the Titanic’s “The Blue Star” diamond, as a Norweigan newspaper speculated, or will we just witness another Geraldo at Al Capone’s vault moment?

Watch it be full of some sort of powder that reinfects the world with some old and deadly disease :pat:
 
On that link...they've got some HUGE presentation/show going on with music, dancing, etc.
So much for opening it at 12. I'm getting tired of watching/listening.
