Which shot gun to buy?

I would go with the Benelli, just for reliability and comfort of shooting.. But what do you want to do with said shotgun??

Well Mossberg 500 and Remington 870 are amazing firearms especially for the price. Just all depends on your budget and comfort. Benellis are going to be expensive. But let me tell you I own 3 and have 0 problems with them. They are designed for hunting though, meaning long barrel. Not the greatest thing to be slugging down a hallway in pitch black night when you hear something go bump! I think for a starter a Mossberg would be great. Something you can keep close if someone where ever to try and break in. As well as reliable enough to take dove or duck hunting.

Tactical shotguns don't make good hunting weapons, longer barrels are more suited.
