Which would your 9th Civic Prefer - Big Brake Kit or just Drilled Rotors?

Well I have the H&Rs now, so i figured ill stick with em. You have any suggestions.

. I should have just done it right the first time...now Im ending up spending more time and money.

Pretty much any lowering springs are good with the Koni Yellows. Springs really depend on what kind of driving you want to do. Do you want the ride to be comfortable, rough/aggressive, a bit of both, etc? Lol. I think you'll be okay with the H&R springs/Koni Yellow combo.

now its time to beg friends to use their garages and drive ways...............for my stupid racer boy mods :vtec: (good thing i helped them work on their cars at my old garage)

phil136 - Same rotors but from Corsport for less.

If the R18 still uses the same size rotor as the 8th gen then you can also run brake parts from the 02-06 Acura RSX base NOT TYPE S.

I cannot 100% confirm fitment as the part numbers are different.

8th gen rotor: 45251-SNE-A00
9th gen rotor: 45251-TA5-A00

Numbers are very close.

I currently run these on my 08' LX. They've been pretty decent.

If anyone with a 9th gen buys the 02-06 Acura RSX EBC USR Slotted Front Rotors USR7126 and they don't fit let me know and I'd probably buy them off you.

How did you find those particular rotors? They list that as a direct fit for the 2012+ ? Just out of curiosity.

I went on the autoplicity website and they don't list anything for 2012 civic LX in the brake section. They dont even have the civic listed if you pick 2013 for the year.

I just want to make sure you dont get something that doesn't fit or looks close but won't make it.

Ok... So....

I went directly to the EBC brake website and they list quite a few rotors. Apparently they are saying for a 2012 Civic LX that all the previous 8th gen part number rotors will fit, including the ones phil136 posted.
