i picked up wwe 13 for the ps3 and it made me miss old wcw. as i was growing up i used to watch nitro on monday nights on tnt and i was wondering who all used to watch it and if so lets talk about the good ole days ECW included

I used to watch WWF and WCW before HS. Lol.

I used to love this stuff when I was younger. First, it was WWF back in the day (had VHS tapes on summer slam with bret hart and ladder matches with shawn michaels). Then, during my tweener stage, I watched ECW allll the time (ECW! ECW! ECW!). Then it was back to WWF when rock and stone cold were doing their thing.

The only time I watched WCW was when I played WCW vs NWO on N64. That game was amazing!

WWF or WCW of the 80s.... either i outgrew wrestling or its just not the same... lol never really ever cared for ECW....

I'm still surprised how many people go to WWE events way after UFC or mma became very popular.

:word: I heard about her but didn't know she was in wrestling.

actually it was the NWA before it was the WCW ... ;) and wasnt Stacey a manager of a tag team first if my memory serves me correctly ...

ECW! ECW! ECW! ..... I loved watching those guys. Just insane. I've got a couple old DVDs. New Jack using the staple gun on one guys head..... 4 stacked table slam from the upper balcony - like 25feet easy. Barbed wire matches, the fluorescent light matches. That had to be toxic....

Wrapping their hands in tape sticky side out and then rolling them in broken glass... blood everywhere!

Rob VanDam and Perry Saturn came through the gym I worked at fairly regularly when shows came through. Nice guys. I helped Rob find a suitable tanning salon! hahaha.

ECW Path of Destruction.

1. Chris Jericho vs 2 Cold Scorpio vs. Pitbull #2 vs. Shane Douglas. 4-way dance for the TV title from 1996. GREAT action with Scorpio and Jericho. The Pitbulls Superbomb Francine. Purely ECW at its best.
2. Rob Van Dam vs Bam Bam Bigelow for the TV title from 1998. This match marked the beginning of RVD's historic two year run with the belt. Awesome spotfest with RVD.
3. Sabu vs The Sandman from 1998. This is the classic "Stairway to Hell" match. Brutal.
Stairway to Hell match, featuring Sabu vs. Sandman. Watch Sandman, head wrapped with barbed wire and gushing blood, repeatedly cane Sabu with a 4-foot stick.
4. Ian vs Axl Rotten in their "Taipei" death match. Brutal, plus a run-in from the Public Enemy and the Gangstas.
5. Jerry Lynn vs. Tajiri vs Super Crazy Three-Way Dance from 1999's November to Remember.
6. Dean Malenko vs Eddie Guerrero in their fareway 2 outta 3 falls send off match in 1995. Pure scientific genius!!!(
7. Psicosis vs. Rey Mysterio Jr. Standard lucha fare.

Let me find someone to make a copy and ill definitely send you one. hahaha.

New Jack was crazy! His entrance and Sandman's were so epic. They would use every single ring weapon available to them, including a cheese grater. Holy toledo. RVD and his amazing kick with the chair. Sabu and his reckless leg drops (I'm sure his leg was broken half the time too). The Dudley Brothers "3-D" on a burning table. Mikey Whipwreck and his awesome signature move, the whippersnapper. Oh, and remember the feuds between Taijiri and Super Crazy? Unbelievable. I can go on and on and on!
