Taiwan quality! Sadly this is where the automotive performance marketplace is going, and it's part of my job :(

You are coming next year, even if I have to stop by VA beach and drive you and Jason down, I'm planning a "cabin made" dinner for next year instead of paying Fontana for it.
i do have video of you going down on the exhaust shoot but i have to try and figure out how to flip the video because somehow it plays upside down srry ill post it when i figure it out :(

you would have to come to RI but i would warranty it for ya
I appreciate that offer Sal! My dealer's Service Mgr. told me that "he felt bad that Honda wouldn't let him warranty the sensor" so he offered to give me his absolute bargain basement price to replace it........$125. I said a few things not worth repeating and went by Discount Tire, had the sensor replaced with a new OEM/ TRW in less than 1/2 hour and paid $45. A big FU to Honda Mall of GA :rantsmiley:

Greg, you're kidding, right? Did you forget all about Sam in Charlotte?

I did forget :hiding:. I'm considering going cause my clutch pedal is clicking. I'm sure there's a DIY to fix it but I don't have any tools down here and don't feel like working when I'm not studying :coffee:

Plus I'll need my brakes done whenever I decide what rotors/pads I'm gonna use. Think Sam would be able to install non-OEM parts?

He'll take care of nearly anything you could come up with. Obviously, he put my Albins gears in without complaint/problem.

I'd say go down and see him (Scott Clark Honda on Independence Blvd), or I can get you his number. It'd be a good idea to let him know when you're dropping it off beforehand if you're going to have him do any work. Don't really think he (or his service writer) would draw up an invoice if you just wanted to get their opinion on something.
Oh and, before you go off and buy an EM1 CMC or something - If you'll need to replace it, just get it from an OEM parts retailer or through Sam / Jeff (in Parts), (Hybrid "upgrade" kit is a rip - you're basically paying ~$75 for a braided line + the cost of the CMC). Part # for EM1 CMC - 46920-S04-A01 - Majestic Honda selling for ~$94. Sam, or Jeff (in Parts) may be able to give it to you at cost + 10%.

I've been thinking about the em1 cmc since Richard (sonej4) mentioned it at the dragon. That may be something i do when I get my brakes done cause the car has been grinding at redline from 1st to 2nd more frequently. I don't get it much normally cause I don't find myself at 8,500 in 1st often, but at the dragon Im driving a little more spiritedly so the grind showed up

Does it come with a K20? :bleh:
That video makes driving the speed limit SUPER fast.... :hiding:
I was only half throttle and shifting at 4grand :giggle:

At that point I was doing 104mph...on my second try at an exhaust vid pass. :pat:

Thanks for posting those Sweet Gympers, and thank you Gingersnap for taking them. JUST when I thought I was putting all my bad luck/troubles behind me, I rear ended a minivan in a drive through while trying to satisfy my addiction to McNuggets. :pat: I had literally just deposited my settlement check and bought some bullets before this happened. Now I'll have to divert some of the settlement towards repainting her bumper out of pocket so my insurance doesn't spike. It was my fault but FRAK if I'm not furious at myself and embarrassed beyond belief. :blowsbrainsoutantismiley:
