There's no way in hell you will get an STi for what you pay on the civic now. You know financing better than that!

Actually. If i could consider an STi Sedan, not a limited (which I want a moonroof), my guy that buys cars said they can do 600 more then payoff on the SI, I could sell my Flashpro, Intake, and suspension. The RPF1s with tires (but i'd probably keep cause I like the look) I could have around 3000-3500 to put down (with selling the wheels).

I called my credit union and I could get a 33k loan at 1.9% for 72 mos and be at 16 bucks more a month than the SI. So it's really all in if they're willing to go to 33k on an STi sedan. My buddy talked Pence down to 32 on a STi hatch and they are 2k more than the sedan at sticker.

Geeze! thats flippin crazy. I asked my insurance co. (allstate) and they said it would be $340 a month for the STI hatch. although I have 1 accident on my record. I know that is freakin everything up for me. The mustang 5.0 would be $500 a month. so its safe to say i'm geting neither anytime soon.

Ok got it backwards. the hatch is A LOT cheaper on insurance than the Sedan.

Currently I pay
616.68 every 6 months for the SI, or 102.78 a month

IF i got a STi Hatch It would go to 686.61 every 6 months, which is 113.44
IF I went STi Sedan it would go to 852.00 every 6 months, or 133.42 a month.

The hatch just sounded a lot nicer lol

!!!!!!!!! Holy crap that's a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!

Comparing from my Si to STi I pay about 200 more a month on the loan....then don't forget the gas. While stock the gas mileage is awesome I get around 18-19 mpg on a OTS Stage 2 tune.

I think the reason for this is how it's classified. At least in PA the hatchback is registered as a station wagon :giggle: and everybody knows....how dangerous can a station wagon really be lol

STi Sedans have a lot higher accident ratio i'm sure too. Or a higher threat since people have been beating on them since 04.

I have a soft spot for black vinyl'd roofs. I am very tempted to do it.
