I'm receiving my kit tomorrow. However, the mounting brackets will take a moment to design. They have a local car they're going to take measurements on.
Really looking forward to learning how this turns out.

I just emailed Stiegemeier about it, hope to get a response as I want to get mine ported and get a venom cooler.

Good! Good! That's is always better the venom cooler is going to increase longevity of the bearings and create way more consistent iat's but you need a aftercooler to run the venom cooler it's taps into your aftercooler kit

Yep I plan on getting one whenever they go into production, I told them about it and said it would be at least a few weeks before I was ready anyways. Watching all the aftercooler threads with the hope that they come out soon!

did you re-use the the stock or CT supplied bolts (6) for mounting the aftercooler plate to the manifold or did the aftercooler kit come with new ones?

I just got the mercracing kit and I'm not sure as I have yet to receive my charger.

I believe you use the same the bolts that you used for the blower to mount to the mani. Well that is how it was on the ct kit and merc aftercooler kit. My good friend Danny did it and has no problems at all

IMT supplied me with 6 additional bolts to use with their aftercooler.
I opted for the .25" phenolic spacer because it was more affordable and I already have a few belts I can try to fit in.

I managed to install everything today, HX, Reservoir and pump... just going to pull the blower tomorrow and wire it all in.

I built a cradle out of aluminum angles, square rods with rivets and brazed it all together. I ended up bolting it to the crash bar and supporting the bottom from the AC condenser support. Here's a picture of it while I was mocking it up.

Do you recall which wires to snip and extend to the IAT sensor? And does it affect the ECU that the IAT's will read higher?

You don't snip it. Well I didn't on mine I just strip the wire and added it to the wire. But I think it's the green one. Let double check that in the morning for you just to make sure.. Well yes and no. You want to get it tuned off the iat's instead of the Maf. Your car won't run right unless you set it to run off the iat in flashpro otherwise you would get a CEL because your Maf wouldn't be plugged in. So what we did was we tapped the manifold in the runners for better iat's and left it unwired until I was going to get tuned. That's what I recommend. But I will check on the wire for you in the am

I suppose this is a good place to ask if anyone, anywhere, has posted a vid of the ct supercharger on our car other than ct's 30 second romp with 3 passengers? Can anyone point me to more video?

The 6 bolts they sent, were they used in addition to the CT supplied bolts or used to replace them? Looking at the Merc install instruction I am confused as I would think the additional space created by the aftercooler would call for longer bolts. Am I right in this assumption?

I have yet to receive my SC kit and can't play with it. Merc didn't send me any extra bolts and I am worried come install time I may be missing pieces.

Six_speed_demon

Do you recall if your AC kit came with any bolts for the manifold or for bolting the AC to the charger itself? Mine has come with none...

Thanks guys!!!
