Thats what im thinking. What are you guys running? And how do you like them? After doing some more reading it seems that doing a side wall repair can be hazardous....especially if you drive you car hard in turns etc. One guy remarked that he lost tire pressure and had a gaping hole shortly after having it plugged. Yet other drivers have said that they have plugged the side wall and had no issues at all. This seems to be a bit of a gamble......with your safety on the line. Conclusion: Buy a new tire.

I sold my cheap Firestones that my car came with. Can't remember what kind I have now....they came with the rims that I wanted and bought used. They seems to grip the raod really well though.Thats what im thinking. What are you guys running? And how do you like them?

There are lots of threads about tires here though....I'm no expert that's for sure. I like cool looking tires with a good name.![]()
