Hey, you guys are FWD. WTF should I do with my girl's TSX for tires for the winter? She is on bullshit, hell I don't even know what's and I'd like to get her on Hankook V12s as well, but dunno how that'll be in the snow. Should I just cover the car?

Continental ExtremeContact DW, for a dedicated all-season.... If you want just snow tires, General Altimax Artic

Oh, wait, we're all Scoobarus here? haha
No Scoobie here, just a little Civic LX...

Yeah, 2011s WTF? BTW, I'm working with Spearco to produce a TMIC for us if anyone is interested. ~700 range, hopefully under.

Continental ExtremeContact DW. I'll read about them, don't know anything about all-seasons. Will they be a huge compromise in performance if say we were to take the TSX to the Dragon? I wouldn't auto-x them I don't think..need another set of rims, sigh. Really just want to tarp it..lol

Ha, I bet. Got a SICK deal on my 08 because the 09s had come out (better suspension, bigger turbo, sunroof). But the '11s, woo $.$

Hence why I own a '07 WRX TR. I is po'. lol.

For the two weeks I had S-Drives on my FG2 I loved them. Would not recommend for winter tho. Get some continental DSWs. Or whatever they're called.

I was trying to get a 05 Legacy GT Wagon, but the dealer didn't want to play... Looking on getting a Forester XT within the next year.

Conti all seasons have great grip in the wet, dry and snow. I had a set of ExtremeContact's on my 16's and did the dragon on them and they stuck really really well.... I have yoko s-drives on the TL wheels now and sticking like glue is a good comparison

Yep, ordering a set of Hankook V12s 225/45 (dunno if I want 235s on my 7'' wheel..) and 215/45 Continental DWS on Monday.

$988 shipped with tire insurance. Hurts. Badly.

the stock 235/45-17 dunlops are fine for the stock suspension, I can get around just fine with a bigger rear sway and alignment. Next year Im getting the rce yellow /gtworx bilstein setup. General altimax artics for the winter :woot:

zulu, hows the spearco tmic development? $700 would be great because i dont wanna pay 1k for a PW tmic.

You had stock 235s?? 205/55/17 RE### for me, were awful. I think I'll run into issues with the 235 all around. Need moar camber and thus, need rear camber arms. I don't know, I have til Monday to figure it out. Too frustrated right now.

Um, development is going ok. We had a donor car in and it went smoothly, but now we need one for a final design and it's ghost. So, struggling to get one in their shop with their engineers, hopefully in the next couple weeks. Once that happens thing should move quickly. And, yeah, this is going to **** up the PW TMIC -- they should be scared haha. Price point is sick.

235 is too much for a 7" wheel, the 2011s come with 235/45-17 on a 17x8 wheel. I wanted to get pilot super sports before the dragon, but the stock tires do very well, and my budget would be killed. I'd be eating ramen for the next month and a half.

I am what many call, N'er-rich. I bought '11 after having an 07 TR, so it was a nice upgrade.

Ok, so I am getting incredibly pissed at this flashing ****. I tried the new definitions, tried it on a different computer, tried it on a different car, and still I've gotten nowhere. I never had problems reading my 07 ECU, or flashing, and I did it many times. It's not like I'm new to this. My next step will be to call Tactrix directly. I wonder if I have a bad Tactrix. It blows my mind because I can test flash and datalog, but no reading.
