Clean Civic, though I am partial to cutting the clear (turn/reverse) out of the taillight tint. Looks like you sprayed them?

And yes, wingless ftmfw.

Nope. No spray. Lamin-x smoke tint.

I feel sorry for the douchebag that decided to cut me off in the downtown tunnel this morning. I am sure his ears are bleeding from the minute of a horn blaring while his windows were open in front of me. Did I mention I have Hellas installed.

I will be glad when I dont have to drive through that tunnel anymore, 27 days and counting.

Also cant wait for the dragon, going to be lots of fun.:brock:

Hmm. Maybe I should get my Hellas installed. I need to order the bracket.

Morning all. I am having an internal conflict with the car. I can't decide if I want to do anything to it or not. I'd really like a RSB and a minor drop, but just so many other decisions to make financially that are killing me. I'd really like to buy a house, too, so need to get some savings together.

Snow tires are great, but I've never driven in enough snow to justify. In Asheville, I didn't think they were needed. Don't get much snow there, so the few times you do, all seasons were just fine for me, even in the Z.

Funny you mention that... I've been considering getting an alignment to -1 or so for the dragon.
Question for you on an sti RSB, what endlinks did you use for it and what did you think? Did you keep the stock ones?

get the sway (STI or other) and skip the drop. After the dragon, I'm going to Conti DWS all seasons and I live where snow is a regular occurrence.

noooo, dont lower it on springs only, you'll regret it. Get the proper struts that have better travel. A rsb is your best bet, and an alignment.

JasonVA, the oem links are fine for the stock sti bar, or even a 20mm bar. Anything bigger like my 22mm bar, kartboys are a must.

Sorry, let me clarify, if I were to drop, it would be springs and struts. I've not been able to find any decent springs for our stock struts, and know better than to do it correctly. I've been considering the BC BRs since we were in OC. Jeff and I joked about it, but I had already been eyeballing them.

Maybe I'll find me an STi RSB since they are so cheap just for a minor upgrade. I have a feeling it'll make me just want a real one though. I really want to move back to mountains now...

I have another question for all those attending the dragon. As I mentioned, my nephew grew up in Robbinsville, and his grandparents had a house right on Lake Santeelah. They just sold the house last month to a couple that will use it as a vacation home. If I were to get a rate of like 400 or 500 for the week to rent it, would you all be interested in skipping the cabins and staying there?

The house is pimp, has 3 bedrooms upstairs, 1 down, 2 living rooms, 2 kitchens, a HUGE deck that you can swing off of into the lake. It's about 15-20 minutes from the Dragon. It would fit us all comfortably. The house has all of their old furniture in it, so we would be able to live like kings (or queen if your last name is Newell), for the weekend.

One other thing, the house has a boat dock, which we will have access to use, and my nephew is bringing his jetski, and mentioned taking those he knows well out on the pontoon boat (his uncle lives just up the hill and uses the same dock).

Interested?

I would do C/O simply because the BRs are only about $200 more than a good spring/ stock setup and would allow for adjustability. That makes it worth it to me. I don't want to be low in the winter for the random one or two snows we get.

Let me see about the house before you cancel reservations. I'm going to have my nephew call his grandparents today. I will get back to you on it.

$930 shipped (through Treble) is the best I've seen on the BC BRs FYI if and when you're shopping for them. And that house sounds badass if we're invited haha.

Man. . .I really want these Hankooks on the WRX but might have to do the DWS. How disappointing..
