I can't do vinyl / tint too well, and I'm too cheap to pay someone $100 to do so, I really don't mind painting again, I'm a DIY person.

He's rocking the same size tires I was on the MEanie too. 225/40/18. I did not rub. My opinion are that his springs are the suck. Granted, they're prokits but they sit like Sportlines.

Josh, did you buy those springs brand new or were they used?

I have the same thing too Josh and I don't rub. I have a 1.8 inch drop with the skunk2 springs. Mine are +35 offset though. Idk what yours are.

I hear you, I'm usually DIY but mine cost me $50 and they've last two years no problem. Never liked how paint has turned out that I've seen aside from professional work.

I hate how it loses its shine after awhile and looks dull. Even though they are expensive and prone to getting stolen overlays are much better in my opinion.

I'm right there with you on saving money, Jason. I am only pressing for the sways because this will be the one time this year I'll get to put them to use. Ordering tomorrow. Hellas will go on next week.

Josh's car looks great, but def needs a little more gap. Rubbing ftw. Wheels look great, though.

Zulu, did you happen to get a chance to look for those definitions? I really don't know what to do for flashing.

Oh, and I tried overlays. It didn't turn out too well. I may give it a shot one more time. Maybe order some stock in vinyl and try it til I get it. I like the idea of being able to remove it.

I will have mine painted before the dragon. I plan on painting them standard red, but going to clear coat them with clear UV protectant. Reading DIY's most people have some good success with 3 coats of clear coat.
