Anybody throw some rims on stock tires? I'm lowered on skunk2 springs so i have a good look going now just wondering if the tires would be too meaty looking with some nice rims on them. Post pictures if you have any! Thanks!

Run whatever you want. 17" x "width". People stretch the heck outta tires. What do you feel safe with? If you feel the stock fitment is "meaty" I think you probably want some super stretched tires or rubber bands, yea? I would recommend a 17x8 ish range for the stock tire. What are you looking for in terms of looks. It would help narrow it down a bit for you. Flush? Wide? Track day performance?

Yeah i would get 17x8 if i were to stick to stock tires. And i'm only drivin my car for everyday use. No track or anything like that. Just want it to look good and not goofy with some nice rims and fat tires. The si has some thin tires i think im just curious about how it will look. If i dont like it, maybe i'll just get some lower profile tires when the time comes.

If you go in that 17x8 range you can definitely run the stock tire until it's worn out and always upgrade to a wider tire later. It will give you lots of room to work. The fat tire appearance doesn't really show up until you are cramming a 235 or 245 on a 7" wheel. the 225/45/17 tire size is almost a perfect match for the stock size in terms of matching the speedometer and odometer.
