2013 Civic LX. I looked at mine this morning, there is a box right inside the bumper with a bolt holding the box in place. Does that box need to come out?

Yea, I took that box out.

For all you folks with a Civic LX, I tried this over the long weekend. After breaking a few fasteners trying to get the wheel inner lining out, I find that the fender may need to come off to get the box out. Is that true?
