Next up on Pauly mod list?? :P
:giggle: Hahaha. I actually do have a system to install. Been a while I've had all the pieces just sitting in the trunk. :(
I want to install it myself, but have no experience. Need a partner to help me on this, but none to be found. One of the amps has one LED blue light and I'm all happy about that. :D
^^^ This guy's exterior looks so awesome. As much as I love lights, these ones are a little too :party:for me.

2 amps. 1 for speakers and 1 for amp. I want to be able to control the sub woofer amp volume separately. The is no sub in the LX stock system so I cannot control the volume through the HU. I I will need to hook up a separate button (from an electronics shop - with blue light ;)). Don't even know if this is possible because I don't know what I'm doing. I should probably just take it in and have someone do it for me, but they'll charge me around $250 to do this. Too much moola that I don't want to pay. That's why the stereo just sits there in limbo.

What amps, speakers, sub do you have? And to clarify, you want to be able to control sub volume with a dial? what do you mean blue light? like you want to move the light from the amp to somewhere else or do you want to add a blue light for indicating power on?

Alpine. See photos. One in the box and the one beside the box.
Sorry, I meant control the sub woofer amp with a separate volume, ya.
One amp has a blue light when it's on. I just like the light that's all.

What sub are you using? You have the mrp-300 which is a speaker amp. And the mrp-320 which is a 40W x4 speaker plus 120w to the sub. The 320 could run your whole system through the one amp but lower output to speakers than the mrp-300 by 10-35W/ speaker. Also 120w is not a lot of power for the sub imo.

I'm going to start a new thread. So we don't hijack this one. :)
