Deos anyone know if once you turn your car off from having your LED headlights on while driving, if they stay lit for a little bit of time or do they turn turn instant off.

So the order has been placed... I keep thinking about the HID kit xenonDepot offer with the phillips bulb. I don't have projectors and don't want to spend the money for retrofit.

I really am considering using it on my stock housing but i know people say it's really bad. MAN! I just spend 1.4 hours searching info on HID and LED, etc...

ugh...

I can tell you I have both and am beginning to like the led better. I have the parts for a retro just haven't had the time to do it. I know people hate having hids in without projectors and I have seen them for myself and it doesn't seem that bad to me.

If you are referring to the AUTO headlight, It should say on and fade out as stock.

So I have a question. I was looking at my LED headlights in the daytime because I wanted to look at the housing. It appears like I see a dark blue spot with a black mark in the middle. It appears like it's a slight burnt mark. Anyone else have this happened with LED headlight?

Not sure what I should do now. I don't want this to ruin my housing since my car is so new (last year) and I would HATE going back to my hazard causing weak halogen bulbs. Any advise?

So the thing that is weird is when the LED is off the housing looks perfectly clean/normal. However as soon as the LED go on, I can see a bluish spot and a black little dot in the center. I'm assuming if it was burning the housing, wouldn't it be visible when the lights are off? Here is pic of it off and on.

Does anyone with HID or LED in halogen housing have this? Is this just the way it reflects? Or is this burning the housing. Thanks.

Ok guys so GREAT NEWS!

I tested it on my wife 2014 civic and she didn't have this issue. At this point I called it quits and felt bad that I have to get rid of them because I didn't want them melting my housing even though I loved the lighting so much.

BUT then i attempted to wipe the area with a my rubber glove. And it fixed the issue. I guess there was a smear on the halogen housing. I completely removed that area!!! HOWEVER i got a little bit of dust in the housing.

So, these LED headlight unit DOES NOT melt the housing!!!

Now i'm debating if I should get it for my High beams as well as it is my DRL. @Gitrdone42 have you noticed any flickering? I've read a few of the review on xenon depot for the 9005 bulbs having flickering issues when they are used at DRL.

Thanks!

No flickering but with it you want to get the additional harness for it. That's what keeps it from flickering. Glad you found out what was going on.
